TRIPS (Tennessee Research in Paranormal Studies) is a volunteer group of professional individuals who give their time and talents in the pursuit of debunking and verifying paranormal activity.

We come from different backgrounds, with different talents and skills, but we all maintain the philosophy that when confronted with purported paranormal activity, we must do our best to debunk it (find out natural causes for the phenomena). If we are diligent in that, then whatever remains is worthy of consideration as true paranormal evidence.  If you take the time to read our members’ pages, you will find out just how diverse and dedicated each member is.  We pride ourselves in our professionalism, our pursuit of knowledge, and our objectivity.

We are available to investigate homes, businesses, and other properties in the Middle Tennessee area. That is not to say that we do not travel. We have gone from end-to-end of the state of Tennessee, and have investigated in other states as well.  With proper notification, we can arrange weeknight or weekend investigations. We use equipment such as digital audio and visual recorders, EMF detectors, IR cameras, and still-photography, and are constantly looking to expand our cache of equipment resources. All private investigations are done free of charge to the client, with CD copies of any evidence obtained given to the client.
